Meet the Artist

Hi, I'm Alexi Elias, a professional live wedding painter and event illustrator based in South Florida with 18 years of experience in both traditional and digital art.

Originally from Queens, New York, my artistic roots weren't found in a traditional fine art classroom. I learned through the influence of my surroundings: tattooing, graffiti, street art. That unconventional background shaped the way my artistic style is today. While I'm not classically trained, I'm incredibly proud of the path that brought me here. Everything I create has been earned through experience, experimentation, and thousands of hours behind a pencil, paintbrush, and a tablet.

My work blends traditional painting with modern digital tools to create a signature style that is unmistakably my own. Using my iPad for planning and composition before bringing the artwork to life with acrylic paint, India inks, and mixed media allows me to create artwork efficiently while preserving the hand-painted finish every piece deserves.

My style is expressive, fashion-forward, and highly illustrative. Rather than aiming for strict realism, I focus on capturing atmosphere, movement, color, and emotion. Inspired by editorial fashion illustration, lush botanical landscapes, and bold urban influences, my paintings feature vibrant palettes, flowing brushwork, dramatic florals, and romantic compositions that feel timeless while still being full of personality. Every painting is designed to evoke the feeling of the moment in a storybook way, not to recreate a photograph.

Because my work has such a distinct artistic voice, I only accept a limited number of live acrylic paintings each year. If my style speaks to you, I always recommend reaching out as early as possible to reserve your date.

Ironically, before I dreamed of becoming an artist, I wanted to be a fashion model. Growing up, I quickly realized that at 5'4", the runway probably wasn't in my future—but that love of fashion never left. Today, it lives on in my artwork through elegant silhouettes, expressive poses, and a refined editorial aesthetic. I have now had the honor of live illustrating for brands like Chanel, Dior, DoorDash, Google, and many more.

Whether I'm creating a live wedding painting during your ceremony or illustrating stylish guest portraits throughout your reception, my goal is always the same: to create artwork that becomes one of the most memorable experiences of your celebration while balancing quality and quantity.

I regularly serve couples and corporate clients throughout Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Palm Beach, Port St. Lucie, Homestead, the Florida Keys, and Vero Beach, and I love traveling for destination events.
