Budget Questions
Pricing BEGINS at $900 for weekday events (30 guests) and $1,500 (50 guests) for weekend on-location weddings and events in Miami, West Palm Beach & Fort Lauderdale, but total quote is determined by number of guests expected to be illustrated, date, and location. Please Contact for a custom quote since each event is unique. The average price per guest is $20-$30 depending on event date and location.
The lowest budget option is to opt out of LIVE EVENT services and order guest illustrations as favors done in advance or post-event from the comfort of my studio. Couples can also opt for rehersal dinner options on a Friday night with fewer guests. Brides also choose Bridal Shower services with fewers guests during the daytime for a lower quote.

How Our Live Wedding Guest Illustrations Are Created | MIAMI - Fort Lauderdale & South Florida
At Lexie's Illustrations, we've developed a streamlined illustration process that allows us to create beautiful, fashion-inspired guest portraits while serving a high volume of guests throughout your wedding or event.
Our team uses a hybrid workflow that combines traditional artistry with modern tools. Each guest portrait illustration begins using our signature elongated croquis figure. This allows every illustrator on our team to produce the same signature elongated, fashion-inspired style that our clients know and love, ensuring consistency across every illustration regardless of which team member creates it.
Once the outline is complete, each illustration is then individually finished by hand using professional Copic markers or watercolor, giving each piece the charm and uniqueness of an original work of art. We also offer digital illustration fully created on ProCreate and printed in high quality inks on site for a more opaque look.
To maximize the number of illustrations completed during your event, we typically leave skin tones unpainted. This intentional artistic choice creates a clean, elegant aesthetic while allowing us to illustrate more guests within your contracted time.
After each wedding guest portrait is completed, it is placed into a protective clear sleeve with a sturdy cardboard backing before being displayed for guests to enjoy and collect throughout the evening. This presentation keeps each illustration protected while creating an interactive display that becomes part of the guest experience.
Our hybrid process enables us to work efficiently without sacrificing quality, making it possible to create more live guest illustrations than a fully traditional workflow while maintaining the signature style and consistency that have made Lexie's Illustrations one of South Florida's premier live wedding illustration teams.

The standard service focuses on capturing each guest in a refined style as they are. These include lifelike poses, an illustrated face, and SOME shading for added depth. Each illustration is personalized and crafted with care, making it a keepsake your guests can truly treasure. Because of the time and artistry involved, these portraits average about 12-15 guests per hour. Additional artists available trained in the same elongated style for higher quantities. All illustrations now have faces.
Important Information About the Live Wedding Guest Illustration Services:
Live illustration services depend on the event, guest count, and budget. A single artist can complete up to 75 guests/ live wedding guest portraits during a single event and we have a team to complete 75 up to 300 guests live. We average 12-15 guests per hour per illustrator but can skip some details to achieve slightly higher outcome. A minimum of half your guest count is required to be booked. This ensures a positive experience. For example, a 150 person wedding must book at least a 75 guest portrait coverage package.
The balance between quantity and quality is always considered so guests receive memorable keepsakes.
👥 Guest Coverage
Depending on guest list size and your budget, not all guests may be illustrated live. Typically, not everyone will request an illustration, which makes this a fun first-come, first-served experience during the event. A minimum of HALF your expected guest count must be booked in order to give a positive experience to your guests. For example a 150 person wedding, a 75 guest package is your minimum option.
📸 Post-Event Option
Additional illustrations can be completed afterward from guest photos for $10 per guest, $20 per couple, a perfect option for including illustrations with “Thank You” cards.
🎨 Artist Availability
Services will be arranged with one or two artists or several artists, depending on guest size and budget.

What is a live guest portrait illustration?
A live guest portrait is a quick illustration that capture the likeness and features of your guests in real time! It is a wonderful keepsake and the perfect way to interact with them and make your event memorable!
What do you charge?
My minimum fee for live illustration is $300 p/hour. Please see common rates above. Minimum fee is $900 for live event work.
How long does it take?
We average 12 guest per hour, 5 min a person. At times we can perform 15 guests per hour. Additional illustrators available for maximum output.
What if I want ALL of my guests illustrated?
You have options! Remember live guest portraits happens in real time and our average is 12 -15 guests per illustrator per hour- therefore here are your options:
A)You can receive a custom quote by completing the form. This helps to plan your service properly.
B) We can complete the remaining guests at home for $10 per person with the minimum package booking. They will be mailed to the bride & groom to distribute post event or downloaded via QR code.
Remember, not ALL guests want a live illustration & it is an experience regardless how many people receive one.
can you add backgrounds?
Yes! I can plan a simple background that can go on all illustrations.
How far in advance should i book you?
My suggestion is at least 6 months in advance for Winter & Fall weddings. Spring and Summer at least 3 months. You never know! Your date could be booked so please inquire as soon as you get the urge, especially for travel requests.
What do you need from the venue?
As the live event illustrator, we bring art supplies. We will require table and chairs from the venue located out of direct sunlight and away from a DJ. We also require a vendor meal for events 4+ hours. Electrical outlets are appreciated.
I HAVE 60 GUESTS, CAN I BOOK THE 50 GUEST PACKAGE?
With 60 guests, you MIGHT need more than 50 illustrated, therefore you may need to request a custom quote. The 50 guest package includes “up to 50” meaning not more can be included as 50 is the maximum and can be an option if you are okay with 10 guests missing illustrations.
Is this only for the guests or does the couple get one too?
The bride & groom will also receive one if a photo is taken!
is this only for weddings?
NO! In fact, I have done several events such as brand awareness events, trunk shows, galas, fundraisers, and corporate events. I have illustrated for Chanel, Dior, Burberry, etc.
can i get both wedding painting & live guest portraits?
Yes! You can combine services of live wedding painting of bride & groom. This is located in the Live Wedding Painting tab.
