Live Wedding painting

After years of fashion illustration, I have found a passion as a LIVE WEDDING PAINTER in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and other SOUTH FLORIDA areas. I will set up my art supplies before your ceremony begins to create a live painting or illustration of your special location and moment (s). Live Wedding Painting can be combined with live wedding guest portrait illustrations or booked solely on it’s own. Prices start at $800. Inquire to learn more or view the gallery.

I custom ornate frame all of my live artworks if you are local pickup post-event or taking home directly from the wedding. The colors I offer for ornate framing are: rose gold, gold, turquoise, or silver.

Please contact me to book me as a live wedding painter or to discuss your live wedding art needs and special day, as every wedding is unique. Look below for common packages & go here for portfolio gallery.

Live Wedding Painting style

I am a South Florida Live Wedding Painter & a mixed media artist; therefore, I have an illustrative and painterly style look combined.

I have a unique process as a live painter. I travel with my Canon Pro and create a sketch layer based off of a photo that day or compile two photo(s) depending on your vision. I will layer watercolor & acrylic for a slightly impressionist background. Then, I will focus on the bride and groom as figures. Finally the details will either be added on site or in studio depending on what you are booking that day! My artwork is mixed media including: digital sketch on fine art paper, layering watercolor and acrylic, and/or using copic markers.

My live style is loose and focused on the nature, venue, surroundings, & your spirit. I will add lots of natural elements from your wedding venue location scenery. I typically only paint the bride and groom into a natural landscape, meaning an outdoor scene, but I am happy to discuss some other needs with you. Some common moments I prefer to live paint are: first kiss, first look, or other candid moments as opposed to portrait style / formal posing.

I differ from other live painters in a sense that I use a variety of materials from start to finish to achieve a certain look.

The artwork may or may not be completed on site depending on what you are booking that day. You also get some studio time for me to complete any unfinished live wedding paintings if needed, however, my artwork is loose, therefore faces are not exact photo-realistic representations, but resemble the likeness of the bride and groom as much as possible. Currently, all of my artwork is done on fine art paper and placed in an ornate frame.

I am a live wedding painter based in South Florida therefore, my services are available to the following locations from Miami up to Vero Beach. Miami, West Palm Beach. Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Port Saint Lucie, Vero Beach, and anywhere in between.

FAQs

  • Yes! Just rememeber that more people in the image, means more time. Each additional figure requested in the image is an extra $150 per person.

  • Yes! Each pet is an additional $50 and I will need photos and to know in advance during the planning phase.

  • I am a mixed-media artist therefore I use a variety of materials on wedding day to achieve a desired look/technique including: a digital sketch on fine art paper, watercolor, and acrylic.

  • Great question! All depends on what you plan to do with the artwork. I suggest hopping on a call to discuss sizing. The smallest I offer is an 11×14 more illustrative style (often booked with guest portraits same day); the largest I offer is 18×24. The most commonsize is 13×19 since I custom ornate that size frequently.

  • All of my artworks typically depict outdoor scenes & I work best with clients who let me portray that vision. I can recommend someone local who has more architectural experience.
